2010 South Texas USSSA Bumps
At the national convention, the three State
Directors from Texas (North, South, West) were
charged with building the program from the bottom
upwards. As a result, the South Texas USSSA
Classification Committee met recently and came up
with the following bumps for the 2010 season.
Men's C to B
The following teams will be bumped for local
tournament play ONLY through the State Tournament.
For any NIT, National and/or World tournament play,

Process for Appeal
Teams listed above were not reclassified as a
penalty, but rather as a compliment for an
outstanding season. Now is the time to allow other
teams to enjoy the successes you had in those
divisions, and for you to test your abilities at the
next level. If, after at least 4 USSSA Qualifiers
including at least 1 N.I.T., you feel your team can
compete at the new level, you may appeal to the STX
Classification Committee to move back down.
Player's Names on Rosters
It is NOT the responsibility of the State Director
to make sure that YOUR name, as a player, is or is
not on the correct roster. Every year in March or
April
we receive numerous complaints from players saying
that they were/were not added or released from a
team's roster, which usually resulted in their being
included as a bump for the upcoming season. You, as
the player, should be checking on the USSSA website
on a regular basis to make sure that your name is
ONLY on the roster(s) that you are aware of. If a
team roster isn't frozen, you may be able to have
your name removed from that particular roster with
an e-mail to the State Director at
